COVID-19 UPDATE

Thank you for your support in ensuring pupils are kept safe, well and able to learn at home during this unprecedented time with the Coronavirus outbreak. As a school, we are hugely appreciative of how our community has come together to support one another.

We remain committed to following the latest government advice. From 1st June 2020 we will begin to open our Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 classes for all pupils within those year groups.

Below you will find all our communication to parents relating to this matter. This page will be continually updated with all our letters so please do keep checking for updates. Additionally, you can contact the school via telephone on 01543 490378 or email office@st-james.staffs.sch.uk should you have a specific question, or matter, you would like to discuss.

Advice for parents/carers during coronavirus

Whilst it is extremely important to follow Government advice during this period, it can be confusing to know what to do when your child is unwell or injured. NHS 111, GPs and hospitals are still providing the same care that they have always done. Please click here for some helpful advice.

Guidance for parents and carers: keeping children safe online

The Government information for parents and carers has been updated to include a section on keeping children safe online. It provides links to online resources that will help support parents and carers in keeping their children safe online. You can read this here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/closure-of-educational-settings-information-for-parents-and-carers
